Mr. Dan has been an Independent Director of Principal Financial Group, Inc. since May 15, 2006 and its subsidiary Principal Life since May 16, 2006. He serves as a Director of PresenceLearning, Inc. He served as the Chairman of the Board of Brinks Co. since January 1, 1999. Mr. Dan served as the Chairman of Bax Global Inc. since February 1998. He served as Chairman of Brink's Home Security Holdings Inc. He served as a Director of BAX Global, Inc. He served as an Executive Director of Brinks Co. from February 1998 to December 23, 2011. Mr. Dan is a Member of the Business Roundtable and is sub-committee chairman on the Security Task Force. He studied Business and Accounting at Morton College in Cicero, Ill and completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
